Heat Lightning (1934)
Blondie Johnson (1933)
both from Warner Archives.

Gremlins (Blu-Ray) - This holiday season, I make the wrong things right.
Predators (Blu-Ray) - Now I'm just an A-Team, an Evelyn Salt and an Expendables short of owning 2010's Summer of Action on Blu.
Inception (Blu-Ray) - In a sexy, Future Shop exclusive Steelbwwwwaaaaahhhhmmmm!!
Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy (Blu-Ray) - This was promptly snatched out of my hands to be given to me as a gift, as Miss Elizabeth had been eying it but couldn't justify the near hundred dollar price tag. Sick old savings, eh b'y?
Eden of the East: The Complete Series (Blu-Ray) - Our protagonist awakens in front of the White House with no clothes, a handgun, a cellphone with access to 10 Billion Yen, and absolutely no idea how he got there or why. I'm intrigued.

I really enjoy Heat Lightning. Definitely a "under the radar" film from WB and of course it's Pre-Code!

yeah since my funds are non existent i am having to pare my WANT list down to very very specific themes.
precode strong women characters are one of them.
after code - many women characters started to need more and more rescuing...ick.

Well, Aline MacMahon's character in Heat Lightning will definitely fit the bill. I love these little "B" films from Warner Brothers that cram a lot of story into a running time of just over an hour and, of course, that wonderful WB stock company of actors.
