Most popular DVD in Australia

Postby Attrage » Tue Feb 01, 2011 1:07 am

Okay, just for fun I have a little trivia question.

As of the end of 2010, what was the most popular (ie the most purchased) DVD in Australia? (hint: it's a movie both kids and adults can enjoy)

I'll wait like, 24 hours or so, then if no one's guessed it I'll post the answer :)

 It's not that far-fetched, but why "Nemo" and not "The Incredibles" or "Monsters Inc." or one of the "Toy Story" movies? What is it about Nemo that appeals to Australians, besides being a sneak peek at what half the continent will look like over the next couple of days? :(

I was thinking about it, and I think it's that it's the only one of those movies that features a pretty good digital representation of the largest city in Australia, and features several well known Australian actors in voice roles. Plus it's just cool.
Oh, and the floods have receded now, and so far no fatalities from Cyclone Yasi, which is a relief! Just hoping these things don't follow the "everything in 3's" thing...
