Yeah, we eat wasabi peas all the time here (Honolulu), and I'm on a kimchee (hot spicy Korean pickled cabbage) binge lately, although that's kind of difficult to eat while watching a movie. Beverage of choice until recently was beer, especially Guinness, but in the interest of weight loss I've been dirnking lots of Schweppes Diet Tonic Water with cranberry juice, which is surprisingly refreshing over crushed ice, and garnished with a slice of kielbasa. Just kidding about the kielbasa.

I was just in your neck of the woods. Me and the wife spent three days in Honolulu and then went to Kona and spent a week at the Hapuna Beach Prince. I'd only remembered the Big Island from playing Army twice a year there, and forgot just how nice the place and food were (I'm pointing at Merriman's on that one).

Kona's great...we try to get over to the Big Island once or twice a year, to visit friends and have a change of pace from Honolulu, which is becoming more congested daily. When you were doing the Army gig, did you go up to the Pohakuloa Training Area? I went up (as a civilian, not service personnel) to run an obstacle course once...my hat is off to anyone who managed to complete it, especially being that it's at around 13,000 feet altitude. I've never been as tired as I was after that...not even sure I've recovered yet (5 years later!)

Do you order this from the site? It's mucho expensive! And I'm guessing the testimonial from Oprah isn't hurting the sales at all. I'd love to try it, but looks like at least $30 even for a simple sample pack once you factor in shipping. Oy vey!
I'm working out a lot, so I am avoiding snacks and beer like the plague. For a Texas boy that's rough.
