The King's Speech

Postby Steve T Power » Wed Apr 13, 2011 9:17 am

Outside of a single scene that I found ridiculously cloying and sentimental ("I HAVE A VOICE!" *doe eyed Rush whispers: "Yes... you do") It really is a shame that this flick is being buried under so much negative backlash for its Oscar wins.

Firth and Rush were nothing shy of brilliant here - you want to see a real "actor's" movie, this is certainly it. Great review!
As the ancient Tibetan philosophy states:"Don't start none... won't be none...".
