RIP Elisabeth Sladen

Postby the5thghostbuster » Tue Apr 19, 2011 12:43 pm

May she rest in peace and God be with her family.

The news has been spreading over the net fairly quickly, including tweets from Nicola Bryant and Paul Cornell.

I just saw this...so sad.

Loved the ep she did with Tennant (School Reunion?).

Truly the best of all companions. Stop. End of discussion. Such sad news. 63 is way too young. Very, very sad.

Very sad to hear. Not a big Who fanatic, but I liked her in the David Tennant episodes and the Torchwood crossover.

RIP. She'll be missed.

I am stunned by the news. I just thought she'd go on forever. Didn't even know she was ill. What a horrible shame.

I'm still waiting for more of her work to filter over to this country. I don't have BBC A so until Netflix or Hulu get the new episodes of Who and her show I'm stuck.

This is alarming news. She looked so healthy. She looked young also, I would have never guessed her age.
