Sopranos: Season 6 Part 2 -I'll finally get to see how this ends.

I put off getting this since, in the past, they wanted to charge as much for 9 episodes as opposed to the usual 13. That didn't change but it's easier to take at $20 as opposed to $40-$50.

I like Claymore. Not as good as Bebop nor as entertaining as DBZ (well, except for the parts of DBZ that bogged down. And everything after Cell...) but very stylistic and reasonably well written.

Caught the first four eps of Claymore, and it's solid stuff. It's currently a little monster-of-the-weeky, but it feels like it's laying the groundwork for some interesting character growth and a larger storyline. It does feature a slightly whiny tag-along kid, but he's not nearly as bad as many incarnations of the character.

I don't make a huge amount of money, I just don't have a particularly costly lifestyle. No cellphone. No subscription TV. I only use the car for essential errands. I plan my grocery budget and cook my own meals. With those items out of the way I'm ahead of most of my friends.

I get paid, budget accordingly, and don't currently have a huge mountain of debt over my head (credit cards, loans etc.) That leaves me with some play money.

Cocoon. I didnt even want to buy it actually. But it was on TV the other week so I thought, hey, havent seen it in years, might catch it. So I sat down to watch it and even though I hadnt seen it in years I could spot the places throughout the film where the commercial station had freakin massacred it, taken out huge chunks of it to fit in more commercials. Get this, Cocoon is what, a 115-minute film or thereabouts...on TV it ran for more than two-and-a-half-hours with all the commercials, and that was even with all the minutes they trimmed out of the movie. Shocker. So I went out and bought it at KMart for 7 bucks so I could actually watch the entire movie!

Oh I will but 18 bucks is a lot more attractive than 40 bucks. I know Kiss Me Deadly. I love Kiss Me Deadly. I can wait a few weeks....it's just not something that I'm used to.
