Caught the first four eps of Claymore, and it's solid stuff. It's currently a little monster-of-the-weeky, but it feels like it's laying the groundwork for some interesting character growth and a larger storyline. It does feature a slightly whiny tag-along kid, but he's not nearly as bad as many incarnations of the character.

I don't make a huge amount of money, I just don't have a particularly costly lifestyle. No cellphone. No subscription TV. I only use the car for essential errands. I plan my grocery budget and cook my own meals. With those items out of the way I'm ahead of most of my friends.
