Anyone who doubts Momoa's ability to play a good Conan need only check this out (and the final bits of episode 7 of Game of Thrones...)

Yeah, I am down for this. Die hard fans of the Arnold films will likely never be converted, but this to me looks like a good-old-fashioned B-movie night at the cinema.

I've said it before, i'll say it again - ANYONE who's read Howard's originals knows that Arnold is not, never was, and could never be Conan.

Ha! There was more blood in that 2 minute trailer than in most full movies.

Now that looks like a hell of allot of fun!

I have to admit, I wasn't into the whole idea of a remake. I do love the cheese of the first and even second fantastic sequel from the eighties.

I hope there's at least a hint of real stage blood and not the uber annoying CGI stuff.

Was the 3-D an after thought or was it shot that way?

And why are the releasing all the really coolio fun movies so late in the summer?

I was more optimistic after the teaser. Momoa has a contemporary way of speaking that takes me out of the period/fantasy world.

The trailer felt too MTV for my tastes. I do think the movie will be good however.

I'm with Stypee with the CGI blood. If the trailer is accurate (yeah, right) it might be just a tad overdone. OTOH, maybe we're finally getting accuracy about what happens when you behead someone with a broadsword. Don't know, my only reference is the movies.
