Need Your Help Quickly with Film Titles/Ideas

Postby stypee » Sat Oct 22, 2011 7:02 pm

Alright folks, need your help with this:

My friend's step-dad is a designer and he helps design poster art and tag lines for films. He is trying to find two films that can compare to the plot below. I knew this would be the best place to ask..

It's basically one of those cheesy tag-lings that go something like "With the storm and drama of "Titanic" and the determination of "Rocky" - there has never been a film since these...

Some crap like that..

Try to thing popular and familuar at the box office - the faster you can come up with the ideas, the better!:

Here's the basic premise

An old washed up once famous man, living alone with no friends and in failing health begrugenly picks through his past and through strangers and family and decent memories looks for forgiveness, hoping to find a few last moments of peace..

I'm doing this all really fast, sorry for the bad spelling grammar and crap - you should all expect that by me by now.
It's not as though I really need you, if you were here I'd only bleed you..

Um...About Schmidt? 'though he wasn't famous. Royal Tenenbaums, kinda? For Love of the Game?
I'm just a horse, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love me.
