Until the next one!

As for The Shining - in general, I've tried to focus on original score material rather than pre-existing stuff, and though the Lygeti music is fantastic (also love the way his material was employed in 2001), it wasn't actually written for the film. However, I'm actually in the process of changing my self-imposed rules on pre-existing stuff, as you'll hear on tomorrow's podcast.
I've been thinking about Miracle at St. Anna lately and wondering whether I should give it another shot. It has a lot of admirable qualities, but it didn't quite work for me the first time around. The only thing holding me back is the considerable running time.

Also listened to the inaugural Oliver Stone podcast. Top three selections : Nixon, Salvador, Heaven An Earth. This show makes me want to seek out more soundtracks.
