I remember reading in a comic book as a kid a short Superman story. I think it was a shorter story, not part of an ongoing book - may have even been used as filler in a completely different comic. Anyway, the basic premise was that Superman was lonely, so he goes looking for a wife. He can't marry a human woman, so he flies to several different planets (!) and finally finds people just like him - they all fly around all day with capes and everything. This is great. He meets a woman and they fall in love. He brings her back to Earth. That's when he discovers - the same yellow sun that gives him his power is fatal to her, so he has to take her back home and continue on by himself. It was a very poignant ending, as I recall.
Does anyone remember this? It would have been in the late 70s or early 80s when I was quite young.
