dvd blue ray combo question

i want to buy a new release SH Game of Shadows with the extras but
the new form is either a 1 disc DVD or a 2 disc Blue ray /DVD
obviously the 1 disc DVD isn't going to have any bonus features
if i buy the Combo will THAT dvd have the bonus features?
or from now only are bonus features only available to people with BLue Ray?

The special features are on the blu-ray disc. The DVD is bare of all but movie...

The single-disc DVD does have a couple extras. But even the extras on the Blu-ray don't add up to much.

On the upside, here is Australia the rapid advance of blu-rays has meant that new release dvd prices have fallen by around $10. So if you are just after the movie and don't give a hoot about extras, you're set. Is it the same in the US?

Somewhat. There is still a window system. First week cheap, second week absurdly expensive, third week cheapish, then down to it's settling price.

BR is getting cheap also via online warehouses. Amazon has some BRs going for less that what the DVD would have in it's hey day. I picked up Shutter Island and Expendables for less that 20 COMBINED. I call that good.

Sometimes the DVD in the combo pack will have the same extras as the solo release, but most of the time it'll be bare.
