A week after the project was shelved, director Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham) is taking charge of the film. The script was crafted by Robert Harling, with rewites by Sacha Gervasi. Series creator David Jacobs is producing. This is the second TV-revival for Chadha, who is also directing I Dream of Jeannie for Sony.
