Now you can have all the benefits of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost!
The hook of Personal Training is that you can customize your workout. Do you want to flatten your belly? Or get firm? How about slim your hips and thighs? Maybe improve your health? Or just lose weight? No matter what your goal, this is the disc for you! Well, actually I'm not sure who this disc is for. Many of the moves are too difficult and transitions too quick for people just beginning an exercise routine. However, those of us who are looking to add to our established regime will find the intensity level lacking.
There are a number of segments on this disc:
* Warm-up (4 mins)
* Leg & butt targeted toning (5 mins)
* Abs & lower back targeted toning (5 mins)
* Arms & shoulders targeted toning (5 mins)
* Chest & upper back targeted toning (5 mins)
* Total body toning (10 mins)
* Cardio A (13 mins)
* Cardio B (13 mins)
* Cool-down (4 mins)
Led by Chris Freytag, these segments can be mixed and matched based on your goals. You can create your own combination or follow pre-programmed workouts. The exercises consist of your basic aerobic and toning moves such as curls, crunches, lunges, and grapevines. Freytag is a qualified and inspiring instructor who leads us through these typical moves in interesting combinations.
The sound and video are more than adequate for this type of DVD. There are a handful of quick bonus segments to give us added tips to lose weight and stay injury free. I'd like to recommend this well-designed disc, but have no idea who would benefit from it.
It's a fraction of the cost, but also a fraction of the benefits.
