Oink.
Nickelodeon's charming little slice of porcine animation is given a Christmas-themed collection and, thankfully, there are no episodes that deal with the awkward question over holiday ham and bean suppers. Four episodes, each episode chopped into two small tales:
* "Olivia Claus/Olivia and the Family Photo"
Olivia looks
for her lost doll and brings season's greetings in July.
* "Olivia Makes a Wedding Gift/Olivia Makes Magic"
Olivia,
um, makes a wedding gift and Olivia's brother Ian desperately searches for his
sister when she makes herself disappear.
* "Olivia's Ice Spectacular/ Olivia's Snow Day"
Olivia puts
on her own skating show in the backyard and Olivia meets the Abominable
Snowman.
* "Olivia and the Babies/ Olivia's Good Luck"
Olivia plays
mommy and later, Olivia goes on the cookie-selling offensive.
A nice little show, featuring nice little characters and a nice animation scheme. You may not be willing to confront the looming holiday season already, but this a nifty collection of low-impact, inoffensive cartooning.
The DVD: Full frame, 2.0 stereo, and a bonus episode.
