Integrated Strength Training is a set of workouts geared toward carving off calories and building muscle. At least that's what the disc case says. And though I didn't bother lifting a finger to try any of the workouts, just watching these folks do their thing inclines me to believe that the exercises should deliver.
Your host for today's blood-pumping dose of strenuous activity is Jeffrey Scott, a Reebok University master trainer. I don't know what kind of accreditation the Reebok University gets, but you obviously can't matriculate if you're a slob, so I think you'll be in good hands with this guy.
The program runs 45 minutes and you'll need one to two pound hand weights and a floor mat to participate. If you don't have this equipment the DVD won't work. Ha! Kidding! Just need to drive up the word count.
Actually, what this program does well is implementing three levels of workout resistance. To do this, each of the participants, Scott and his two cohorts, run through the routines on their respective levels, with Scott himself handling the hardcore versions. The differences in the routines appear slight, but over the runtime I can see how they would make a big difference. Anyway, it's a nice inclusion and gives you, the aspiring Aerobic Super Cardio Master, some goals to aim for.
That's about it for this installment. The presentation is par for the course: three people in a room, sweating in glorious full frame and a 2.0 stereo audio mix. A brief workout from Liz Gillies of Body Lift lies in wait within the extras.
