She takes on the criminal world and leaves them dry! (Did you catch the double entendre in that tagline?)
Saki (Mihiro) is a renowned undercover operative known in criminal circles as Agent See-Through Panties. Really. Her latest assignment is to infiltrate a high school and expose a possible student-involved prostitution ring. But Saki isn't your typical Jump Street poseur -- she's the Yo-Yo Sexy Girl Cop! That means she's both sexy and cop-like and assaults bad guys with her awesome yo-yo.
She ultimately finds out it is indeed a prostitution ring going down and that faculty members are running it to blackmail and gain favor with powerful Japanese politicians. Things get complicated for Saki when she befriends one of the student-prostitutes and even more complicated when she starts dating the school hunk. What is a girl to do? How about blast some fools in their @#$%$%$#@ heads with a @#@#$%&*##@$ yo-yo?!
I guess this is an erotic spoof of the original Yo-Yo Girl Cop movie, which I happened to review and, frankly, thought was goofy enough to be considered a spoof in and of itself. The weird thing: this isn't really that funny a movie, leaving me with the notion that the filmmakers simply wanted to take the Yo-Yo Girl Cop character and place her in a bizarre series of awkward erotic encounters.
This is straight-up weird Japanese T&A, bound by just enough plot to keep it from being a full-on, senseless slice of nudie action. Virtually all of the intimate scenes involve high school girls in their real-life-anime school uniforms copulating with old faculty dudes. Or sexually harassing a hapless male student and forcing him to cop a feel. Frankly, these set-ups are more off-putting and bizarre than titillating. But maybe hot-sauce and masks do it for you.
The story is basic and forgettable -- faculty running a prostitution ring (okay, maybe not that forgettable) and the undercover cop looking to bring them down. Translation: a couple of old, horny guys leering at young Japanese women. There's also a coming-of-age plotline tossed in with Saki hoping to bed her beau.
Overall, Yo-Yo Sexy Girl Cop may sound interesting and cool, but it's not -- it's boring, kind of stupid and not very erotic -- unless of course you dig the dumpy Japanese bureaucrat/whorish high school girl brand of fornication. Also, the music is unbearable.
The DVD: full frame and 2.0 stereo (Japanese with English subtitles), a photo gallery, and behind-the-scenes featurette that won't make any sense to you unless you speak Japanese. There are no subtitles.
