All Rise...If Judge David Johnson spreads out the 10-minute workout over the course of three days, will he still get abs he can bounce Susan B. Anthony dollars off of? The ChargeDance, sucka! The CaseThese fitness DVDs tend to adopt varying styles to appeal to slobs with discerning tastes. Whether it's kickboxing or salsa or sports-themes or just the typical cardio-fun on the beach, there are plenty of styles to choose from. This DVD combines two elements: dance and ADD. The workouts are all dance-themed, and each routine will only last 10 minutes, allowing you to get back to the second half of the Bowl game and your sausage and peppers toasted sub with time to spare. Jennifer Galardi leads this series of workouts and she's a sparkplug. Seriously, if we could figure out a way to tap into just a fraction of her spunk and use it as a renewable energy source, we could tell OPEC to screw itself. Galardi is a pro dancer and teaches at Equinox and Sports Club in Los Angeles and has the abs (and tats) to prove it. For the workout, she's flanked by two other equally-ripped ladies in sports bras. There are a total of five workouts on the disc, each averaging the promised 10 minutes. Individual routines are somewhat customized to produce different results, but all of them are set to upbeat faux-nightclub music. Here's what you get: • "Simple Slimmer" • "Calorie Meltdown" • "Fat Burning Party" • "Butt and Thigh Blaster" The DVD is well-produced, and the camera angles vary from close-ups to wide shots, allowing you to see an effective landscape of hard-bodied ladies feeling the burn. The video quality is clean, though subtitles would have been nice. It is close-captioned, however. No bonuses except for a lame "custom" workout, where you mix and match the routines, instead of, you know, going through the strenuous activity of pressing the chapter skip buttons on your remote.
