All Rise...Judge David Johnson built himself an Arky, Arky. The Charge…attack! The CaseAlright, this one is geared toward a very specific audience, namely Sunday School teachers and Christian parents with young kids. The DVD is essentially a string of Sunday School songs, partnered with rudimentary animation, and belted out by a pile of kids. It's all harmless, Godly fun, and good for what it wants to do—i.e. give some kids cartoons and words to go with their favorite Bible songs. This is actually a two-disc set, with one being the DVD and the other an audio CD. Here's what you'll find on the DVD as far as a playlist: • "Rise and Shine (Arky, Arky)" "Isaiah 52:9," "God Made Me," and "Days of the Week Prayer" aren't songs, but brief animated interludes, running about 30 seconds or so. Now, for the CD: • "This is My Commandment" Overall, it's a good value for folks looking for this kind of thing. Again, pretty narrow demographic, but the animation is enjoyable to look at, the songs are children's church classics, and the ability to play all the tunes in a karaoke format could prove invaluable for the burned-out Sunday School teacher.
