All Rise...Chief Counsel Melissa Hansen is Wild On...Fitness DVDs. The ChargeLeading the way toward a stronger, healthier, and happier you! The CaseTake a look at Brooke Burke on the cover of this DVD. Then absorb these facts: she is forty years old and has given birth four times. Now look at her again. Uh huh, forty. Yep, four kids. Now do you wanna know her exercise secrets? In this 60-minute Strengthen & Condition workout, Brooke and trainer Greg Joujon-Roche show us her tricks for getting a hard body. (We won't mention the secret trick of having an ex-husband who is a plastic surgeon.) They take us through a warm up, lower body work, core strengthening, upper body exercises, and a cool down. You can play all, or pick the sections you want. I found the upper body section to be less effective than the others, especially since the core work left my abs on fire. The moves (crunches, lifts, and curls) are basic but effective, with a few that will leave beginners panting. The DVD looks as good as Brooke does on the cover: standard defintition 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, 2.0 Dolby Stereo, and brief "what fitness means to me" interviews with Brooke and her personal trainer. The VerdictBrooke is set free to continue leading the way.
