Judge David Johnson is tired. So tired.
This is a DVD called Fishmasters.
In 1993, two guys named Carl Edge and Kevin Graves decided to point a camera at themselves and press the record button. They did this for 30 minutes at a time and then convinced various TV stations to run their footage at 1:00 a.m., going head to head with the likes of Wiseguy and Who's the Boss? reruns. They wrapped up production in 2001.
So that's eight years of this! Eight!
Fishmasters is a take-off on fishing shows. Edge and Graves wander around and get involved in various hijinks like irritating a fat man and falling off of wharfs. One of the Fishmasters appears to be mentally challenged. The other one does all the talking. It's all painful.
I mean it's literally painful. As unfunny and cheap as it may be, Fishmasters will especially make you hate your life thanks to its piss-poor technical merits. Shot on video and mixed with the gentle touch of a sledgehammer, the terrible picture quality and the ear-shredding tinny audio will almost certainly prompt you to eject the DVD immediately. The feature itself will make you throw it out the window.
