Case Number 13354: Small Claims CourtDance Off The Inches: Hip Hop Party
Anchor Bay // 2007 // 44 Minutes // Not Rated You just missed Judge Melissa Hansen. She went to the club, to show off her moves. The ChargeGetting fit doesn't have to feel like work. The CaseI have a problem. Both of my feet just happen to be left. Sorry to unload my personal issues on you, but I think you need to have all the information as to what might taint this review. Okay, now that is out of the way, we can begin the party. Woo! This workout consists of three hip hop dance routines—Basic, Sexy Smooth, and World. They are preceded by a warm up and followed by a cool down. The menu allows you to skip to a specific routine or just play them all in order for a 44-minute run time, including a brief introduction. Get ready for sweat-inducing aerobics and tummy toning all in one. Instructor Jennifer Galardi and her backup girls take you through the moves and repeat them, making it easier to follow along. Notice I said easier, not easy. This DVD will be difficult for beginners or those of us with absolutely no rhythm. That said, I know I look nothing like the women on the screen, but I did feel sexy and strong. Well, kind of awkward too, but mainly sexy and strong. For those beginners who are brave enough to give it a go, there is a bonus Step Guide in which the moves are broken down sans music and we can try to learn them step by step before attempting the full workout. I bet Instructor Jennifer Galardi is fun at a party. She's also fun in a fake living room, which is what the set is. Complete with a couch and floor lamps. And hip hop music. Not quite like my living room, but whatever. Speaking of the music, it varies from routine to routine and is invigorating without being overwhelming. The video is also more than adequate. Overall, a fun and challenging workout not just for club kids. Similar Decisions
