Porn stars and prepubescent boys seemed to be a natural match for the Man Show on Comedy Central. Creators Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla knew the audience would appreciate adult film actresses giving household tips in a suggestive manner, and sending an eleven-year-old boy out in to the street to make wise-ass remarks to anyone he bumped in to. It was sheer genius, and comedy gold. The Man Show Boy and Household Hints From Adult Film Stars compiles some of the best of these segments into an hour-long DVD, where you can watch big-breasted homemakers and a naughty Boy Scout create nonstop chaos without any other distractions. Grab a beer, settle down, and enjoy.

There's not much to this DVD other than the two categories of clips. >From the main menu you can choose which one you want to watch, or venture deeper into the submenus to pick out a single segment. The Man Show Boy portion of the program includes Aaron selling beer on a corner, using a fake ID, offering to help "old" ladies across the street, trying to get someone to buy him beer outside a liquor store, and even dressing up as a Girl Scout to sell cookies. Aaron is hilarious in the segments, and has a dry wit that makes him seem like Adam and Jimmy's love child. The Household Hints from Adult Film Stars are a little more planned out, and include some heavy hitters in the industry, like Jenna Jameson (The Passion of the Christies). Jenna shows you how to polish a candlestick and make fruit pops out of juice. What makes the segments funny are how they somehow manage to make even a dripping sink really dirty. You'll never look at your washing machine the same way again. And miraculously they get Cindy Crawford to talk about the insides of a toilet tank and give a mini-lecture on the proper use of a ball-cock.

The transfers are full screen, and always pretty clear. The audio is a simple stereo mix that gets the job done nicely. There are no extras to speak of—but the disc itself just seems like a supplement to the proper season releases of The Man Show. All the clips are funny as hell, and they've picked a good crop out of both segments. The disc would go over well for a guy's poker night, a nice diversion during half-time with the boys, or maybe at a fraternity house when no women are around. I can't imagine anyone without a penis finding the material very amusing, but those that are suitably equipped should giggle with adolescent abandon throughout the whole thing. No frills, no extras; just porn stars and little boys doing naughty things. If it sounds appealing, rest assured it most certainly is.
