All Rise...Judge David Johnson sang "The Wheels on a Bus" and his mommy gave him a Nilla! The Charge"Mr. Turkey Feathers Counts to 10" is on this disc? Sweet!!! The CaseThis is another release from Thingamakid, a studio that sounds like it's in the business of building adoptable children out of old stereo parts and selling them on the black market, but actually delivers compendiums of music and cartoons for the wee ones. Their releases carry a theme that ties the hubbub together (they also put out Action Bible Tunes, a Sunday School-themed set) and this bad boy is all about the toddlers. Here's the lineup: • "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" "Mr. Turkey Feathers Counts to 10" (a classic), "Meet the Shapes Family," and "Colors of the Rainbow" are exempted from the karaoke treatments, being stand-alone bits of short animation. The DVD is supplemented with a CD, which features these killer tracks: • "The Muffin Man" Not much to say here. Thinkamakid does a good job with these discs, and the bonus audio CD is a sweet little extra. The animation is simple, but fun to look at and the songs are all presented well. The karaoke options give the kids plenty of opportunity to simultaneously practice their reading and screaming at the top of their lungs. A solid collection of favorites, executed with panache.
