Case Number 01610White Water Summer
Sony // 1987 // 90 Minutes // Rated PG
Closing StatementWhite Water Summer is not nearly the bad film I expected. Take away the flash-forward scenes of Suspiciously Older Alan narrating, and you have swift, fun, action-oriented adventure that has balanced acting and a good theme at heart: Grow up the hard way—with courage. The VerdictThe flash-forward narration is almost inexcusable-almost. But that Sean Astin is so darn cute, I'll let White Water Summer go with a slap on the wrist. Similar Decisions
