All Rise...Judge Melissa Hansen sees a gold mine in the "for Grandparents" franchise—oil changes, cold fusion, ghost hunting, etc. The ChargeConnect with the part inside of you that is eternal! The CaseYoga For Grandparents is a companion DVD to Yoga For Families. The practice includes several routines in which you learn various poses and breathing techniques to do on your own or with friends and family, especially the grandkids. These routines include: • Introduction For the Dynamic routine, there's a choice of Contemplative/Meditative or Instructional/Traditional audio. When I got out my mat and popped in the DVD, the Meditative audio automatically came on. This was confusing, since there are no instructions given. Make sure the audio is set to Traditional the first time. The Partner routine includes poses to do with…well, a partner. The Breathing routine includes fun and kid-friendly exercises. "Yoga Instructor to the Stars" Ingrid Von Burg is our very upbeat and positive leader. While most of the poses are easy enough for beginners, this isn't the place to introduce yourself, your parents, or your memaw and pepaw to the practice of yoga. Yoga For Grandparents is not so much a training DVD as it is a way to expand your practice and connect with others. If you have some experience and are looking for a new twist—so to speak—give it a try. Audio and video make it easy enough to hear Ingrid's instructions and see her smiling face, but don't expect much else. The only extra is the aforementioned Meditative audio track. The VerdictGuilty of being a good way to connect with yourself and others. Give us your feedback!Did we give Yoga For Grandparents a fair trial? yes / no Other Reviews You Might Enjoy
