The Case

It's time for another booster shot of science and adventure when The Zula Patrol comes to town. This CGI-animated educational kids show features a squad of aliens that fly in spacecrafts and repel the evil advances of Dark Truder, a malevolent potato.

The four episodes on this disc all focus on weather:

"Chilly Cook-Off"
ADVENTURE: Multo is screwing around with a recipe for something he calls his "galactic goo." Despite the rest of the Zula Patrol's urging for him to put the goo in the freezer, Mutlto warns about the instability of the substance. Bula stupidly sticks it into the freezer, and all hell breaks loose.

EDUCATION: The focus here is temperature. What does Centigrade mean? Or Fahrenheit? These perplexing questions and more, answered for you! As a bonus, you'll learn what a thermometer is.

"Treasure in the Clouds"
ADVENTURE: Dark Truder suspects that the Zula Patrol is searching for the legendary "golden cloud" and plots a way to beat them to the top of Mount Zula to collect the treasure for himself. But what they find at the top isn't what they're expecting.

EDUCATION: I got two words for you: water cycle. Learn how the different types of clouds are formed, from their modest beginnings as water drops to their transformation to water vapor then…well, I won't ruin it for you.

"Wish You Were Here"
ADVENTURE: The Zula Patrol is going on vacation and journey to a planet where they can enjoy all the seasons instantaneously. Skiing, swimming, raking leaves, and more! But Dark Truder is lurking somewhere with trouble up his sleeve…

EDUCATION: What governs seasons? The tilt of the Earth of course. Idiot.

"Weather Vain"
ADVENTURE: Bula is self-conscious about his performance as the Zula weather forecaster. When he receives some harsh criticism, he—are you ready for this—storms off to sulk. He won't have time to wallow long, when the Patrol is faced with a monster storm coming their way!

EDUCATION: It's all about stormy weather and the magic that is rain and snow.
