Michael Rubino is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which, if you didn’t know, is overrun by zombies every five years or so. He managed, despite the living the dead, to graduate from Seton Hill University with a degree in graphic design and creative writing.
When he’s not boarded up in his house watching movies, he’s performing in a sketch comedy troupe called The Cellar Dwellers. And when he’s not doing improv or sketch comedy, he’s writing and performing in an old-fashioned radio serial called Dodge Intrepid and the Pages of Time. And when he’s not podcasting and making funny voices into a microphone, he’s drinking lots of coffee. Lots.
Being from Pittsburgh, it’s understandable that Mike Rubino loves Romero zombie movies. On top of that, he somehow manages to balance his taste for classic and art house films with totally sweet action movies. But above all, he loves Woody Allen films… and not just his earlier, funnier ones.
