DVD Verdict's Reviews

More than 150 film critics have contributed 23,322 reviews to the Verdict archive; from the biggest Hollywood movies to the smallest independent films, fiction and non-fiction from cinema and television alike. More importantly, these reviews aren't just one paragraph snapshots from fly by night bloggers. DVD Verdict reviews average more than 750 words, a great many weighing in with 1,500 in-depth critical essays of films we both love and respect. There's also a fair amount of harsh film criticism, some which may read as snarky but none of it intended as personal. We have far too much respect for the filmmakers and their hard working crews to dismiss the time and energy they put into their projects.
